When and where is the live audition?
4th June 2023, Sunday. 2pm to 6pm.

What happens during the live audition?
We will video your dance routine, and optionally your singing. Plus, of course a quick and impactful self-introduction! The audition tape will be judged by scouts from K-Pop agencies and K-Pop Bootcamp trainers.
Is it dancing or singing or both?
A dance routine performed is compulsory for the audition. You can also optionally sing a piece. If you also audition with a vocal piece, and are selected to join the Bootcamp, you will join the advance vocal classes, instead of the beginner classes.
Why should I attend the live audition?
Live auditions give you a chance to win a ‘Wild Card’. That is, you get a guaranteed spot at the K-Pop Bootcamp, plus AUD$1,000 sponsorship. You win the Wild Card Challenge if your audition performance receives the most ‘Likes’ on the organiser’s Youtube Channel.
What do I need to prepare for the live audition?
- A 1-minute dance routine (not more, not less!). And optionally, a 1-one minute song item. Any genre of dance and song. Check on Youtube that your selected song has not been ‘muted’ by copyright claims.
- Most importantly, register by 3 June 2023 at https://www.the-academy.training/2023registration, with a payment of AUD$60 through PayPal. Participants below 18 need parental consent.
